1 | Social Media Scheduler
Scheduling your social media activity ahead of time is such a time saver! I went from spending an hour every day scheduling my social media to spend only an hour a week doing it! How? I got organized and devoted 1 hour every Friday just to schedule social media. It’s amazing how much easier it is when you not only have a plan but give yourself the time to devote to only one task. The second half of that success is using the right tool for the job. Manually scheduling social media posts is time-consuming! Give yourself a hand by using one of the many time-saving social media scheduling tools available.
These are my favorite social media scheduling tools, they all offer free trials so you can test them out and find the one that is best for you and your needs.
- Buffer – It does it all! This is my favorite social media scheduling app.
- Tailwind – A Pinterest powerhouse. If you are focusing on Pinterest this should be at the top of your list. (Use my link and get a free month of Tailwind Plus!)
- Coschedule – This app not only helps you schedule all of your social media, but also your blog posts too! It’s a very powerful app that makes planning your entire content calendar easy.
2 | Total Project Management
Do you have one app for client management, one for project management, another for invoicing, and another for finances? Combine all of those needs into one app and save your time and effort. There are some amazing apps out there that do it all (or nearly everything) all in one useful app. Two of my favorites are 17Hats & Plutio. 17Hats is my favorite, it does it all. You can even use it for lead generating forms! It’s a great app that does everything you need it to. Plutio is a close second, it has a very responsive & active developer which always adds new features. Plus it does everything from invoicing to task tracking.
3 | Automated Website Maintenance
I’ve talked about ways to automate your website maintenance before, so I won’t go too in-depth here. Just because you go on vacation doesn’t mean that your website should too! Your website needs to stay working it’s best at all times, that’s why automating your maintenance is so important. I highly recommend using the Updraft Plus plugin to automatically backup your site. There is nothing worse than happily enjoying your vacation only to realize your site had a catastrophic failure and now you need to restore it…but your last backup was from forever ago, if you even still have it. Automated backups will save you hours of trouble in the future.
4 | Autoresponder Sequences
Make your email work for you, autoresponder sequences are easy to set up through any newsletter email provider. They allow you to capture leads, and encourage new clients without you having to respond to every email. You can set up autoresponders to send out your introduction or welcome packets, pitch your course, or exclusive services without having to do a thing. Once your responder is set up it’s ready to go! It’s the perfect way to attract new leads in an efficient way, so you can focus on enjoying the holidays, not writing emails. I use Mailerlite for all my newsletter needs, they have a great free plan for those just getting started that includes autoresponders.
The right tools can make all the difference when it comes to your business. Work smarter this holiday season by using the right tools for the job so you can enjoy more time with your family and friends.
